Wonderful Wordsmiths

CALLING ALL YOUNG WRITERS! Do you like making up stories about your favourite book characters, or inventing new characters? What happens when you try writing them down- does writers block set in?

Every story needs a spark of inspiration, and that is where we can help! We are inviting you to join our free Wonderful Wordsmiths creative writing group, for children aged 8-13 years.

Together we use a variety of creative writing techniques perfect for kids and before you know it you’ll be writing a story.

Writing a story on your own can give you an enormous confidence boost, as well as putting into practise all your literacy learning such as phonics, grammar and reading skills!

So why not have a go at writing a story yourself? Our first meeting will be on Wednesday 18th September 4-5pm. Meeting fortnightly on Wednesdays afterwards.
