Another very exciting day has been had here at Stubbington. After a relaxing nights sleep in the extremely cosy beds, the group were off completing a variety of activities such as building shelters, chain gangs, orienteering and even emulating migrating birds (which resulted a few stamped faces when they were located by their ‘prey’). This afternoon we explored tracks and signs of animals within the conservation areas on the site for evidence of the wildlife sharing our home this week, and creating cosy shelters for them to enable us to get a closer look tomorrow!

The group especially enjoyed practicing their team song this evening ahead of the ‘S Factor’ on Thursday, which we are all looking forward to! But for now, a fascinating talk with a wildlife photographer and another opportunity to take to the Hide to see if we get as lucky as we were yesterday with a sighting of four foxes!
