Fundraising Friends - Rooksdown

Hello and welcome to the CHPS Fundraising Friends - Rooksdown Campus

Hello and welcome to our Fundraising Friends page. We hope you will find it a useful way of keeping up to date with all our fundraising events and how money raised is being spent.

If you are interested in joining us, have ideas of ways to raise money or skills you feel are useful please don’t hesitate to let one of our members know. They can then either pass on your ideas or let you know the date of our next meeting.

Who are we?

We are a group made up of teachers and parents with children at the school. Everyone is welcome and we meet a couple of times a term to discuss ways of fundraising for current/future projects.

How do we raise money?

We raise money through a variety of activities, these include an Easter raffle, summer and Christmas fayres, and school discos throughout the year and many other exciting activities.

How do I become a member of CHPS Fundraising Friends?

No special skills are required, just a willingness to lend a hand at events and bring along any fantastic ideas you may have to help raise money to meet out goals. Our children are very special and if by giving a little of your time to make these projects happen it's well worth it!!

Quiz night

We would like to say a big thank you to all those who attended our first Castle Hill Primary School Quiz. It was a fantastic community event enjoyed by all who took part.

We managed to raise £735.39 for our funds which will help greatly towards securing our planned purchases.

Congratulations to Mr Martin and the staff team who won and hope to return to defend their title next year.

We must also say a big thank you to members of both the school and Rooksdown community who gave their time and resources for free in order to support the event.

Many thanks for your continued support,

The Fundraising Friends Team
